Bob Tallman
Born into a ranching family in Northern Nevada, Tallman has served as the voice of professional rodeo for more than five decades. Tallman’s career began in earnest in Fallon, Nev., when he told a rodeo producer he thought he could do a better job than the announcer was doing. The producer told him to give it a try. Tallman earned $100 for that first job and has never looked back. His baritone voice and story-telling acumen are legendary in ProRodeo and at the Wrangler NFR. He went on to announce the NFR numerous times and earned 12 PRCA Announcer of the Year honors. He was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2004 and has also been inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, among others. In 2020, he was selected as the recipient of the Hall of Fame Legend of ProRodeo Award.
