Customized "Back in Vegas" Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Trailer to Hit the Road for Summer/Fall Rodeo Schedule

LAS VEGAS

Las Vegas Events and The Cowboy Channel have partnered on a customized trailer promoting the return of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo to Las Vegas. The world’s richest and most prestigious rodeo will be held Dec. 2-11, 2021 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The promotional trailer will make stops at five major rodeos through September, including the following:
• Reno Rodeo, June 17-26, 2021
• Cheyenne Frontier Days, July 23 - August 1, 2021
• Ellensburg Rodeo, Sept. 3-6, 2021
• Pendleton Round-Up, Sept. 11-18, 2021
• California Salinas Rodeo, Sept. 23-26, 2021

During each of the aforementioned rodeos, the trailer will be parked in a prominent area accessible to fans. As part of the trailer, there is a stage that can be rolled out for The Cowboy Channel’s talent and video crew to film segments right on site, including pre-show, post-show and Western Sports Round Up. On the final weekend or final day of competition, The Cowboy Channel will host their tailgate show at that location with fans gathered around the trailer. The area will also host autograph sessions with select rodeo contestants.

In addition, both fans on site and following online, can sign up for a chance to win an exclusive fly-away to Las Vegas for the Wrangler NFR. The all-inclusive package will include round-trip flights, suite accommodations at the MGM Grand, premium tickets for the Wrangler NFR performances on Dec. 8-11 and more. There is no purchase necessary to enter and entrants must by 21+.

“This promotion is another extension of our partnership with The Cowboy Channel,” said LVE President Pat Christenson. “The presence we have throughout the rodeo season combined with this promotional trailer provides a strong platform to promote both the return of Wrangler NFR to Las Vegas and the NFR Experience. We look forward to interacting with rodeo fans in person throughout the summer and fall schedule.”

As the official network of ProRodeo and the exclusive broadcast and streaming partner of the Wrangler NFR, The Cowboy Channel has enjoyed tremendous growth since its launch in 2017. With round-the-clock programming dedicated solely to Western sports and lifestyle, The Cowboy Channel has distribution in 42 million homes through its cable and satellite partners and can be found online at cowboychannelplus.com and additional streaming service platforms.

“This amazing trailer is yet another piece of our season-long commitment we have made to promoting ProRodeo and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo,” said Patrick Gottsch, Owner and Founder of Rural Media Group. “We invite rodeo fans to come and visit us, meet our talent and personalities and interact with our programming schedule, including Western Sports Round Up. For those unable to join us on the road, we invite you to follow our streaming platform and mobile app that brings ProRodeo and the Wrangler NFR to our fans.”

Known as the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding to compete for a share of the $10 million purse and the coveted PRCA Gold Buckle.
