The World of Rodeo Reunion is the “reunion of all reunions” and brings together the legends of rodeo for an annual celebration of the sport. The group will honor rodeo families, 25 legends of rodeo that are 80 years of age or older and 50 notable Ladies of ProRodeo. More than 4,000 have attended the event over the years.

This year will be the most epic. Honors are being given to many in different category and for the first time, event organizer Larry Jordan said those from the racetrack industry are being honored and special symposiums will be held with special guests including legendary jockey Pat Day and country music star and marketing guru Moe Bandy. Also scheduled to appear is actor Wilfred Brimley.

“It’s all about visiting, friendship and having a good time with folks we haven’t seen for years,” event organizer Larry Jordan said. “This year’s event is all very diverse as we celebrate rodeo, racing and the western culture.

This year included are honors for 50 of the most famous women of ProRodeo, the horse industry and the West, plus new is the ProRodeo/Horseman/Museums and Hall of Fame Conference. Plus, many of the greats of rodeo will be honored.

“The reunion is a unique and special for friends from days gone by, many whose excellence set the bar for our great sport of rodeo,” said Larry Mahan. “Don’t’ miss the opportunity to celebrate friendship, camaraderie and the Western culture.”
