Mad Dash 30 Tickets Available for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo

LAS VEGAS – September 25, 2010 – Rodeo fans looking for tickets to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) will have an opportunity to purchase Mad Dash 30 Tickets.  The tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack Center Ticket Office, online at www.UNLVtickets.com or by calling UNLV Tickets at (866) 388-3267.

These special “Find a Seat” tickets are offered on a “no show” basis with tickets potentially available for all ten Wrangler NFR performances.  The Mad Dash 30 tickets allow the bearer entrance onto the concourse at the Thomas & Mack Center.  The bearer must then locate an open seat in the balcony area.  The bearer may sit in that seat for the duration of the rodeo, unless the original ticket holder claims that seat.  If an open seat cannot be found within 30 minutes after the rodeo starts, the bearer may view the performance from the televisions located on the concourse or simply ask for a refund at the Thomas & Mack Center Ticket Office.

During the 10 days of competition, the Wrangler NFR will again transform the look and feel of the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”  Each year, rodeo fans decked out in jeans, boots and hats fill hotels, casinos, restaurants, shopping malls and showrooms.  Hotel marquees will be splashed with the names of the brightest stars in country and western music.  In addition, the traditional Cowboy Christmas Gift Show held during the rodeo at the Las Vegas Convention Center is expected to attract tens of thousands of people in its own right.

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), considered the world’s premier rodeo, features 10 straight days of the best in rodeo competition, with a total of 120 contestants competing every night in seven events.  Each December, the top 15 contestants, based on the 2010 PRCA World Standings, in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding qualify to compete at the Wrangler NFR.
