Boyd Gaming today unveiled the 64-competitor field for its inaugural Boyd Gaming Chute-Out, scheduled Dec. 10-12 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Some of rodeo’s biggest names will be competing in the first-ever Chute-Out, including fan favorites and world champions, Cody Ohl and Fred Whitfield in Tie-Down Roping. Additional stars include four-time world champion bull rider JW Harris, eight-time world champion and all-around cowboy Joe Beaver and two-time world champion saddle bronc rider Cody Wright.
“With 64 top-ranked contestants which includes 10 world champions, the first-ever Boyd Gaming Chute-Out will be a must-see competition for rodeo fans in Las Vegas this December,” said Chris Gibase, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Boyd Gaming. “With an all-star line-up and unique fan interaction opportunities, the Chute-Out is truly ‘A New Way to Rodeo.’”
Several weeks ago, Boyd Gaming released the Chute-Out Mobile App that will provide dedicated content and unique interaction opportunities for fans attending the three-day rodeo event, including “Chute-Out 101,” with individual event descriptions and scoring tips for the new rodeo fans; exclusive event information; behind-the-scenes videos; social connectivity capabilities; room and ticket packages and ticket purchasing options.
