Country singing sensation and superstar Shania Twain sums up the call to action for Wrangler NFR competitors and fans perfectly, even if she didn’t really have that in mind when naming her 2019-2020 Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, which opens Dec. 6.

Let’s Go! … to the live viewing parties all over town including Caesars Palace, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Rio Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, The LINQ, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood (each Caesars Entertainment properties) and also the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas plus venues all over Las Vegas at official sponsor hotels and resorts.

For this rendition of Hurly’s NFR Hot Spots, we focus on Caesars properties and also “the Cosmo”, and if all you do is experience what these iconic resorts have to offer, you’ll be doing the Wrangler NFR right this year.

Overall, Caesars has branded the company-wide NFR presence as “Spurs on the Strip.”

For the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, it’s “Boots on the Boulevard.”

Whatever the name, the action and vibe is pretty much non-stop.

On this Planet (Hollywood)

Twain is a headliner of headliners, and leads the way with her Planet Hollywood Zappos Theatre shows Dec. 6, 7, 11, 13, 14 and 18. She also returns for shows in March, May and June 2020.

Also, the Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood features free live entertainment and a live rodeo feed plus on Dec. 6, 7, 11 and 13, the Coors Banquet Riders appear from 10 pm – midnight.

Hail Caesars (Palace)

Caesars Palace is a Wrangler NFR headquarters where Twain’s fellow country & Western icons Reba and Brooks & Dunn do some “Boot Scootin’ Boogie-ing” at the Caesars Coliseum Dec. 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14.

Spanish Steps at Caesars Palace is the place to party with free live entertainment, viewing parties, drink specials, and lasso throwing contests plus meet the Pendleton Whisky Posse on Dec. 6 and 7 from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm for free swag, photos and to learn about the Pendleton brand.

Harrah’s NFR Era

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s Las Vegas pushes the Wrangler NFR party with a full schedule of events.

Dec. 6-8 and 13, 1-3 pm: Coors Banquet Riders

Dec. 6 & 7, 10-12 pm: Jack Daniel’s Rider Beau Hill Signing

Dec. 13, 12-2 pm: Saddlebronc Riders signings

Other Toby Keith happenings: Free Live Country Bands playing nightly at 9 pm … Opening early for lunch and open late during rodeo … Jack Daniels Drink Specials … Live Feed of the Rodeo.

The Harrah’s Sportsbook also offers a free live feed of the rodeo and “X Country” at Harrah’s is “A Kick’n Topless Revue” featuring a combination of traditional and contemporary country music chart-toppers. The X Country Girls dance seductively while leaving nothing to the imagination.

Rio Rodeo

The iBar at Rio Las Vegas features a nightly viewing party that features drink specials, giveaways and a post-rodeo DJ on the weekends. Cowboy Cocktail Hour runs from 4pm – 6pm daily and nightly programming post rodeo includes:

Voodoo Steak at Rio features a cowboy inspired pre-fixe menu that offers a choice between a 32 oz. tomahawk, 20 oz. bone in ribeye or 10 oz. center cut choice beef filet for main course and includes the new applewood smoke slab bacon as an appetizer. Voodoo is on the 50^th floor of the Rio with unmatched Vegas views.

The Stetson Country Christmas Show is now at the Rio and features some of the newest and hottest products on the market and classic gifts from Dec. 5-15 (10 am – 5 pm). Admission and parking are free.

Bally’s Hullabaloo

 At Bally’s Las Vegas, the Indigo Lounge offers free Live Entertainment and a free live rodeo feed. On Dec. 5, 8, 9, 10 & 12 from 10 pm -12 am enjoy the Coors Banquet Riders.

 BLT Steak at Bally’s is an American Steakhouse, which combines bistro ambiance with steakhouse fare and handcrafted cocktails, and will feature a rodeo flare during the NFR.

Cosmopolitan Boots on the Boulevard

It’s the fourth annual “Boots on the Boulevard” Dec. 6-15 at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Kip Moore highlights the long list of action with a show Saturday, Dec. 14, when he will be joined by critically-acclaimed country group, Midland, inside The Chelsea.

Overall, the Cosmo transforms into the ultimate rodeo destination with events at CliQue Bar & Lounge and The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails.

The Barbershop throws-back to a time when whiskey and liquor were king, and word of mouth was gold and features unique, specialty cocktails and a carefully-curated whiskey collection. Drink specials throughout the NFR will feature buckets of Budweiser and Bud Light during special country-themed programming.

Thursday, Dec. 5 – Live Country Music beginning at 10:30 pm.

Sunday, Dec. 8 – Rawhide Country Night beginning at 10 pm.

Tuesday, Dec. 10 – Faded Karaoke, Country Edition beginning at 10:30 pm.
