The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas Announces First Annual Best Booth Contest Winners

LAS VEGAS

Led by Blue Man Group and an entourage, The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas announced today the winners of the best booth contest at this year’s show. The winners are Just Plain Crazy for Best Overall Booth and Best Holiday Themed Booth and Barn Again for Best Western Themed Booth.

The winners were determined by the Cowboy Christmas Decorating Committee after the exhibitors were asked to submit images for fans to vote on their top choices in each category. From the fan vote, the list was narrowed to the top six in total votes, and the decorating committee surveyed those booths before making their final vote.

Each of the three winners will receive a prize package that includes an award-winning ribbon each exhibitor can display on site, inclusion in NFR Experience social media channels and The Cowboy Channel, as well as custom profiles in both NFR Rewind Magazine and the 2022 NFR Fan Guide. Finally, each winner will receive a $1,000 discount towards their 2022 booth renewal.

The official gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas will continue through Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas will run concurrently with the Wrangler NFR over ten days and features more than 500,000 square feet of show floor and more than 350 exhibitors from across the United States. The area is adjacent to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo and includes the Wrangler Rodeo Arena, NFR Central presented by Resorts World, the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, Bites and Brews presented by Total Feeds. NFR After Dark presented by Community Coffee, Ranch Water Rodeo Saloon and much more.

Average attendance over the past four shows in Las Vegas (2016-19) is just under 250,000 over the ten days.

“Each year, the exhibitors continue to make improvements in their overall look and presentation at The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas,” said LVE President Pat Christenson. “Our tagline is ‘It’s All Here’ and this award is a tribute to all of the work that each exhibitor has put in to continually enhance all that is offered at the show.”

The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas is one of the highlights of the ten-day Western extravaganza that transforms Las Vegas in December. Traditionally, the show has been the focal point for rodeo fans during the day, before heading off to the rodeo or live viewing parties and concerts each evening up and down the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown.

Known as the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding to compete for a share of the $10 million purse and the coveted PRCA Gold Buckle. In 2019, the event had a total attendance of 168,289 over the 10 days of competition at the Thomas & Mack Center and has sold out more than 330 consecutive performances in Las Vegas.
