- The South Point is also home to Miss Rodeo America and many of the pre-NFR events, including the Wrangler Gold Buckle Gala benefitting the ProRodeo Hall of Fame on Dec. 2, the NFR Contestants Reception on Dec. 3 and the PRCA Annual Awards Banquet and Cinch Western Kickoff Party on Dec. 4.
- The South Point Arena and Equestrian Center hosts the National Finals Breakaway Roping (Dec. 3-4), the 2024 Benny Binion’s World Famous Bucking Horse & Bull Sale, Stace Smith World Bronc Futurity Finale and PRCA Permit Member of the Year Challenge (Dec. 5) and the Ariat World Series of Team Roping Finale XVIII (Dec. 6-15).
