THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC JOINS FORCES

 WITH WRANGLER NATIONAL FINALS RODEO

 

RODEO TO BE HELD DECEMBER 6th – 15th AT THE COX PAVILION IN LAS VEGAS

 

 

LAS VEGAS – November 15, 2007 – For the second consecutive year, the Academy of Country Music will host the Academy of Country Music Stage at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) held in Las Vegas from Thursday, December 6th through Saturday, December 15th.  New country artists will take the Academy of Country Music Stage in the Cowboy Corral, a special area created by Las Vegas Events, to entertain NFR fans inside the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The event is free to NFR fans and open to all ticket holders.

 

The Academy of Country Music Stage will include performances from Bomshell, Chris Young, Flynnville Train, Jason Michael Carroll,  Jennifer Hanson, Jerrod Neimann, Lady Antebellum, LoCash Cowboys and Luke Bryan.  Doors will open at the Cowboy Corral 4:15 PM/PST during the week and 3:15 PM/PST on the weekend. Music performances on the Academy of Country Music Stage begin at 5:00 PM/PST on weekdays and at 4:00 PM/PST on weekends. Rodeo performances begin at 6:45 PM/PST during the week and on the weekend at 5:45PM/PST.

We were the first to award and acknowledge talents such as Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood, to name a few,” said Bob Romeo, Executive Director of the Academy of Country Music. “It’s a privilege to work with the NFR again to showcase some of country music’s finest new talent on the Academy of Country Music Stage.”

·         Saturday, December 8, 2007 – Chris Young, 4:00pm

·         Sunday, December 9, 2007 – LoCash Cowboys, 4:00pm

·         Monday, December 10, 2007 – Luke Bryan, 5:00pm

·         Tuesday, December 11, 2007 – Luke Bryan, 5:00pm

·         Wednesday, December 12, 2007 – Bombshell, 5:00pm

·         Thursday, December 13, 2007 – Jason Michael Carroll, 5:00pm

·         Friday, December 14, 2007 – Jennifer Hanson, 5:00pm

·         Saturday, December 15, 2007 – Flynnville Train, 4:00pm
